Enjoy a big band jazz spectacular with a star-studded lineup of current and past students and associates of Hamilton Boys’ High School (HBHS). The 40-piece jazz orchestra will accompany two exceptional singers, Ash Puriri and Jessica Ruck-Nu’u, performing iconic hits from Frank Sinatra and Ella Fitzgerald. Get ready for classics like “New York, New York,” “My Way,” “The Lady Is A Tramp,” “Come Fly With Me,” “That’s Life,” “The Very Thought Of You,” “Paper Moon,” and “I Only Have Eyes For You.” Conducted by Paul Norman (UoW), this musical journey will feature alumni musicians and a string section including local icons Sharon Stephens, Victoria Trenwith, and Chris Nation.
The proceeds from this concert will contribute to funding the Hamilton Boys’ High School US tour. Bring your own seats and get ready for an evening of jazz excellence!
