Gumboot Rally Event Details

Gumboot Rally is turning 10, with a limited 150 participants over two days in Hamilton, New Plymouth, and Taupo – similar to the original event in 2013. So why not join us on this special journey of adventure?

On offer are custom tees, sponsorship decals for your vehicle, and a mission pack with instructions for the weekend. Plus, you can win awards and prizes – all for an affordable price.

Accommodation is not included in the ticket, but we suggest you book early at Plymouth International where Saturday night stay is available. With our group’s high demand, availability may be limited, so contact the hotel directly as soon as possible.

Previous Event Highlights

Previous Gumboot Rally events have always been a blast, with attendees showing off their creative side and receiving awards for it. The rally is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year and the theme remains open – allowing everyone to express themselves fully.

This event has grown from an initial group of just over 50 people in 2013 to 150 participants today.

The two-day rally is held from the 9th to 10th of September 2023, with destinations including Hamilton, New Plymouth and Taupo. Participants will be given a mission pack full of instructions on how to complete various challenges throughout the weekend while having fun at the same time. There are also prizes up for grabs for those who do especially well!

Accommodation isn’t included in the ticket but Plymouth International Hotel has rooms available at a discounted price due to our large group size – book early though as availability may be limited. Additionally, each participant will receive a custom tee and decals sponsored by local businesses when they purchase their tickets. Passengers can also join in on dinner during Saturday night’s prize-giving ceremony once they acquire their own tickets ($59).
