The 8-week relief printing course explores various processes with non-toxic water-based inks. The course introduces both press and non-press techniques, including blending color layers, monotype prints, single-color, and reduction woodcut prints. Students will also learn about labeling, signing work, framing, and exhibition opportunities.
This introductory course serves as the foundation for a second term focusing on multi-block printing and reduction printing. It encourages students to experiment, explore new ideas, and engage in discussions within a relaxed and friendly studio environment.
Tutored by Renee Marjolein, the course has a maximum of 8 students, ensuring a quality experience. Materials are provided for the first lesson, and students will be informed about any additional basic items they may need for the rest of the term.
