Spring is definitely waking up, Hamilton 🌱
Kia ora Hamilton,
If the sound of lawnmowers around Hamilton last weekend was anything to go by, spring has officially arrived.
The mornings are still chilly, but the days are getting longer, the gardens are waking up, and there are plenty of reasons to get out of the house this week.
This weekend has one of those wonderfully random Hamilton combinations: some of New Zealand's best bonsai trees, a 50th anniversary bottle show, hundreds of Ford fans, tabletop role playing, live punk music and the final events of Welcoming Week.
The weather is still doing its spring thing too. A bit of sun, a bit of wind, and probably a jacket never too far away. Here is your shortcut to what is happening around Hamilton from 9 to 16 September.
