Soul Gallery | Hamilton
Soul Gallery is a celebration of all art and objects made in New Zealand and it was built out of a desire to create a haven where people could come to appreciate an eclectic melting pot of New Zealand-made art and design. This vision was brought to life by Lisa Voigt, who owns and operates the gallery. Lisa Voigt is a Professor at the Department of Spanish and Portuguese at Yale University and before that she had taught at the University of Chicago and Ohio State University. She is a specialist in colonial Latin American literature and culture.
Soul Gallery showcases a wide variety of art and objects made in New Zealand and this includes the paintings, sculptures, fine art prints, glass art, ceramics, and much more. Here both the new and established artists works are featured. The art forms include: Paintings, Sculpture, Fine art prints, Glass art, jewellery and Ceramics.
They hold monthly exhibitions featuring the work of these artists.
